Aigamo Robot Joins the Exhibition at the Two-Year Interim Review of the One-Million-Hectare High-Quality, Low-Emission Rice Project
On Sunday, March 8, Newgreen and Aigamo Robot took part in the exhibition held alongside the two-year interim review conference for the "Sustainable Development Project for One Million Hectares of High-Quality, Low-Emission Rice," hosted by Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. The conference was held in Can Tho City.
On this occasion, the company's representative had the opportunity to introduce advanced paddy-field weeding technology from Japan to the Minister of Agriculture and Environment and the attending stakeholders. This technology contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving rice quality, and it has earned high praise not only in Japan but also in Taiwan, South Korea, and elsewhere.
In addition, the conference announced the results of more than two years of implementing the "Sustainable Development Project for One Million Hectares of High-Quality, Low-Emission Rice" in the Mekong Delta region. The main achievements are as follows:
👉 Implementation area reached 197% of the initial-stage target
👉 Rice yield increased by approximately 12%
👉 Input costs reduced by approximately 40%
👉 Average profit increased by approximately 6 million VND per hectare per crop
👉 Greenhouse gas emissions reduced by approximately 3–4 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare per crop
Going forward, Aigamo Robot is expected to continue contributing to this project, helping to further improve emission-reduction outcomes and rice quality in Vietnam.
