Why Hold It in Japan

Vietnam is a leading source of migrant labor for Japan, providing 54% of technical intern trainees and 59% of specified-skilled workers. Many are drawn to Japan in pursuit of higher wages and access to advanced technology.

Japanese culture has a significant influence on Vietnamese youth, and many wish to visit, work in, and live in Japan. Mastering the Japanese language leads to better employment opportunities and income, and also helps reduce risk in negotiations.

However, due to the weak yen, the wages of Vietnamese workers have fallen by 10–20%, and the high cost of living is prompting reconsideration.

🔹 As of June 2023, the number of Vietnamese living in Japan exceeded 520,000, making the Vietnamese community the second-largest foreign community in Japan.

🔹 In addition, more than 1 million of Vietcetera's audience are from Japan, and in 2023 Japan ranked among the top 5 in Vietcetera's audience base.
